Alverno Clinical Laboratories Earns“Advanced Sentinel Laboratory“ Certification by Indiana State Department of Health

The Indiana State Department of Health has determined that Alverno Clinical Laboratories meets the qualifications as an Advanced Sentinel Laboratory and acknowledges Alverno's standard of excellence.

The Indiana State Department of Health, with guidance from the Association of Public Health Laboratories,  has established criteria for laboratories to handle potential biothreat agents.

Judy Lovchik, PhD, ABMM, Assistant Commissioner/Lab Director, congratulated Alverno on its certification and thanked Alverno for its “dedication to keeping Indiana healthy”.

 Recertification is biannual. Alverno's certification is effective October 1, 2010 through December 31, 2012.
